The officers from Directorate of Health Services, Manipur visited Ukhrul on Thursday for a joint inspection on the construction of Nursing School with hostel at Phungrei, Ukhrul as an extension of Leishiphung Christian Hospital along with updation at DARPAN and also to review the site selection for the project “Providing Super Specialty Hospital at District Hospital Ukhrul“.

The team was constituted to review the present status of the works with funding from NEC & PM-DevINE Scheme.
Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Y. Premchandra Singh stated that, “the project under PM-DevINE has to be completed within two years. The project would provide more healthcare facilities along with additional departments, equipment and infrastructure.” He also added that the fixing and mending of potholes inside the premise of the Ukhrul District Hospital would be taken up on top priority.
A warm reception was accorded to the visiting team by the District Hospital Authority of Ukhrul.
